Who am I?
I have been working in IT for more than 35 years across hard/software development, management and sales. Building this four-node Raspberry Pi cluster was a personal project to learn Docker Swarm hands-on — and this site documents everything so you can build one too.
The Cluster
The cluster hardware is documented in detail in the Hardware page. It uses four Raspberry Pi 4 Model B (2 GB) boards, a 5-port gigabit switch, custom power cabling and a 3D-printed rack. Total cost: around €80.
Cycling
Away from the keyboard, I enjoy long-distance solo cycling. I have completed three unsupported tours:
